Terms

Castle Farm Road is a creative studio we’re building together, with care for the work we make and the people we make it for. We want you to feel comfortable knowing what to expect, from your first order or conversation to the finished work.
These terms apply when you use castlefarmroad.com or purchase our services and digital products. Castle Farm Road currently operates as a sole proprietorship owned by Carrie Fleishman and is based in Sarasota, Florida. References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean Castle Farm Road.
Before we begin
For custom projects, we’ll put the details in writing so you know what we’re creating, what’s included, what it costs and when to expect it. If your proposal includes terms that differ from these, the proposal takes precedence.
For purchases made directly through our website, the product description and checkout details explain what’s included, the price and how your finished files will be delivered.
Payment
For custom projects, a payment of half the project price reserves the work and allows us to begin. The remaining balance is due when the finished work is ready, unless your proposal sets out a different arrangement.
Purchases made directly through the website are paid for at checkout.
Any ongoing services will have their own written payment and cancellation arrangements.
Making changes
There should be room to refine the work together. Your proposal or product description will explain which revisions are included.
If you’d like something beyond the original scope, we’ll explain any additional cost and timing before proceeding. Extra work begins only after you agree.
The materials you share
You know your business best. We rely on you to provide accurate product details, prices, dates, contact information and other facts that belong in your project.
When you share photographs, logos, writing or other materials, you confirm that you have permission for us to use them for your work.
Please look over proofs carefully before approving them, including names, spelling, prices and dates. If you notice a mistake, let us know so we can address it before the work is finalized.
Images and creative tools
We use a range of creative tools, including artificial intelligence, in our work. Some images are created digitally rather than photographed.
For custom imagery, you’ll have an opportunity to review the pictures before approving the finished work. Please check that any products or business details shown are represented accurately.
We cannot promise that imagery created using AI will be unique or eligible for copyright protection.
Using your finished work
Once payment is complete, you may use your finished deliverables for the purposes described in your proposal or product description.
Our underlying templates, tools, methods and materials created before your project remain ours. Editable working files are included only when expressly listed.
Fonts, stock photographs and other materials licensed from someone else remain subject to their license terms. We’ll explain any restrictions relevant to your intended use.
Sharing the work
We may feature finished, publicly released work in our portfolio or studio marketing. If you would prefer that we keep your project private, please tell us before we begin. We’ll respect that request.
Keeping things moving
We’ll agree on a realistic schedule and keep you informed as the work progresses.
Delivery dates depend on receiving the materials, feedback and approvals we need from you. If something changes on either side, we’ll discuss what that means for the schedule.
If plans change
If you need to pause or cancel a custom project, please email us as soon as you can. We’ll review the work already completed and any agreed expenses with you. Your proposal will explain how payments and any refund are handled.
For digital purchases, please review the cancellation and refund information provided before checkout. If your files do not arrive, will not open or appear to be incorrect, contact us so we can help.
Printing your pieces
Unless your proposal says otherwise, printing is arranged and paid for by you.
Before placing a print order, check your printer’s requirements and request a proof. Paper, equipment and screen settings can affect how colors and details appear in print.
If there is a problem with a file we prepared, please contact us so we can review it with you.
Our responsibility
We take care with our work and want to hear from you if something is wrong. We cannot guarantee particular sales, traffic or other business results.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim connected with a project or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that project or purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
The work on our website
Our website includes our own work and materials shared with permission. Viewing them does not give permission to copy, reproduce or resell them.
If you’d like to use something you see, please ask.
Working through a concern
If you have a concern, please write to us first so we have an opportunity to understand it and work toward a resolution.
These terms are governed by Florida law. Any court proceedings relating to them will take place in Sarasota County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
